Numerous global initiatives and guidelines, such as the Paris Convention on Climate Change, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), and the United Nations Guiding Principles for Business and Human Rights (UNGPs), are addressing various aspects of social, environmental, and economic sustainability and well-being.
Since its establishment, Unicommodity has been mindful of and emphasized its progress in addressing these issues. UNICO ENZYMES utilizes natural enzymes derived from tree leaves. Enzymes are catalytic proteins that target and modify the molecular structure of hydrocarbons and fuel-related contaminants. These specific molecules are known as substrates. UNICO ENZYMES contains over two dozen plant enzymes, offering a wide range of substrate capabilities. Enzymes possess active sites where catalysis occurs. By adjusting their shape, they achieve an optimal fit, allowing for a high-energy transitional stage referred to as the enzyme/substrate complex.
